SERVICES

CATV

You want to distribute your live video and pre-recorded content efficiently to all televisions of your venue via in-house cable connections? We can do this in every format, whether it is DVB-T, DVB-C or ISDBT. We undertake the planning, installation, alignment and upgrade of the cable system. It does not matter if you are looking for a temporary overlay or a permanent installation. Our CATV systems, encoders, QAM modulators and multiplexers ensure highest quality in the cable network. Special application such as low-latency and multi-language transmission are also supported.

IPTV

IPTV systems became more and more common at large facilities, but their temporary extensions are usually very cost-intensive. We are one of the few companies worldwide which own HD-IPTV set-top boxes for temporary upgrades, with 600 Full-HD STBs and Middleware servers in our rental fleet. All our encoders and head-ends can simultaneously generate multicast streams in addition to modulated digital CATV. Our IPTV middleware can easily be integrated into existing systems and is compatible even with proprietary systems like Cisco Stadium Vision, Exterity, Amino, Tripleplay, etc. For special applications like WAN distribution we developed customizable multicast converters.

VENUE TV

Typical Venue TV systems are setup in 19’’ flight cases, built around the main matrix and two live video HD-SDI servers. One for playout (VIP TV) and one with additional graphics capabilities for Media TV. For the TV Channel creation we use ‘supermicro’ servers with HD SDI in- and output cards, running our own graphics and playout software. Outgoing signals are rooted into HD-SDI h.264 encoders with dual outputs, to cost-efficiently feed existing and temporary CATV as well as IPTV systems with high-quality signals simultaneously. In addition to the locally generated channels, IP-QAMs can receive already encoded TV signals from local sources or via Multicast / V-LAN and convert them into local IPTV as well as DVB formats.

STREAMING

You want to stream your live event? No problem! You will get the complete service from our side. You can see it on all relavant and web-compatible platforms like: Adobe Flashplayer, iOS (iPhone, iPad, ...), Android (Smartphones und Tablets), Windows Phone, Amazon Kindle (Fire HD, ...), BlackBerry (Z10 BB10, Bold, ...), IPTV / Set-Top-Boxen / VLC Player, Consoles: PS3, PS4, PS4 Pro, XBOX ONE.
For areas with bad infrastructure we provide an ip-upling via Eutelsats Ka-band and NGN (Next Generation Network) by Media Broadcast.

SIGNAL DISTRIBUTION

An important and not negligible part in the planning and execution of events is the signal distribution. Whether from the TV compound to the controlroom or to external areas like Hospitallity tents or multicasting of TV programs over thousands of kilometres to multiple venues. Whether HD-SDI, IP Stream, DVB-C or DVB-T we find for them the best solution for transmission. When planning, we also want to use the existing infrastructure in order to keep the costs down.

MEDIAFACILITIES

Focussing on temporary media press centers and broadcast areas we provide subdistribution for power, data and CATV suitable for all international members of the press including written press, broadcast journalists and photografers.
Especially for press tribunes we can also provide 2500 17,3“ ip44 monitors in tablet style. We call them „Blades“.

ABOUT

incast GmbH broadcast and event services

History

In 2007 the engineering office of Andreas Wolf started working for the UEFA European Championship 2008. UEFA’s request to bring the Stadia TV systems to a new level was answered with several new concepts, which since then became a standard at large sports events.

Since 2012 incast has a close cooperation with Plan2event (P2E), specialising in temporary media facilities. incast typically provides the electrical power, LAN and CATV distribution on the media tribunes, media working areas, around the pitch, etc., depending on customer requirements. Also in 2012 incast acquired their own company headquarter building in Luckenwalde, south of Berlin, with 200 sqm office space, 500 sqm indoor storage space and 1000 sqm of outside storage space for up to 10 x 20ft containers.
